Design of the 2022 Annual Report and 2024 Calendars

Introduction

This project aims to develop a cohesive and visually appealing design for the 2022 Annual Report and the 2024 Calendars for NORAO. Both deliverables serve different purposes but should maintain brand consistency and aesthetic harmony to reinforce the organization’s identity.

• Incorporate modern design trends to enhance readability and visual appeal.
• Deliver print-ready and digital versions suitable for distribution.

Description

We present to you the project of designing the 2022 annual report and three types of calendars for 2024. The graphic concept was based on the idea of «Red Book Birds,» and during the development of the concept, 14 illustrations were created depicting various bird species inhabiting the Russian Federation. The selected birds include: Common Kingfisher, Greater Spotted Eagle, Black Woodpecker, Savi’s Warbler, Cormorant, Black-headed Gull, Great Egret, Black Stork, Osprey, Mute Swan, Red-crowned Crane, and Long-legged Buzzard. These illustrations formed the basis for the design of the ecological annual report and calendars and were showcased at a personal exhibition at the Konstantin Paustovsky Children’s Library No. 170 (link).
